He lost his mom in the third grade, didn't have a dad around, and was raised by his grandparents. These early struggles shaped Josh into the dedicated and determined individual he is today, and he brings that same dedication to every roofing project.

 

Josh graduated from Akron High School in 2007, and after a brief time in Denver, he returned to his beloved small-town life. In 2017, after years of experience in the irrigation and handyman industries, Josh founded Apex Roofing. He started with nothing but a vision and a relentless work ethic, and has since grown the business from the ground up, forging a path toward success in the roofing industry.

 

At Apex Roofing, family is at the heart of everything we do. Josh has three sons—Dawson (14), Kallen (13), and Luka (10)—who he hopes will one day take over the family business, and a 15-year-old daughter. His oldest son already helps out, learning the ropes and building the physical strength needed for the job.

 

Living in Akron, where everyone knows everyone, Josh understands the unique bonds that small-town living fosters. Despite facing numerous challenges and naysayers over the years, he has built a business that stands out for its quality, reliability, and community focus.
